Your annual membership contribution supports the work at the Village including restoring and maintaining the historic buildings and gardens, caring for the Shaker collections and creating inspiring and educational programs and events for our visitors.
Membership Levels
Village Visionaries $1,000 +
Village Visionaries are exemplary stewards of the Canterbury Shaker legacy. They provide annual support for the museum’s programs, exhibitions, preservation projects and scenic gardens and grounds. Their commitment and long-term support is essential to the preservation of Canterbury Shaker Village and the creation of an exceptional experience for all visitors. Village Visionaries are invited to an annual event with the Board and Executive Director, special opening receptions and behind the scenes opportunities. Henry Blinn, Visionary $1,000/year for 3 years
Joseph Meacham, Elder $2,500/year for 3 years
Lucy Wright, Eldress $5,000/year for 3 years
Ann Lee, Founder $10,000/year for 3 years
