Canterbury Shaker Village takes great pride in its talented, committed and diverse volunteer staff. Our volunteers participate in vital museum functions such as demonstrating crafts, greeting visitors, and assisting with special events. Volunteers also play a key role behind the scenes through gardening, helping with museum mailings, making garden products, doing research, and maintaining the buildings and property.
Volunteer benefits include:
