Canterbury Shaker Village is pleased to offer educators two options that will enrich their students’ understanding of Shaker life and culture. We have Lesson Plans on Shaker history and culture, traditional arts, and nature, and Take Away Kits that provide all of the materials you need for a dynamic and meaningful learning experience for your students. All lesson plans are keyed to New Hampshire state curriculum standards.
The Lesson Plans and Take Away Kits are available as part of our Teacher Training program, or your school may borrow kits for a fee. This program was developed with a grant from Bank of America.
