Meet the Shakers Tour

The Shakers created a thriving community where members lived, worked, and worshiped together. Join a Village interpreter for a 45-60 minute introduction to the Shakers designed for family groups with children aged 5-12. Young visitors will learn about the Shakers’ religious beliefs, examine some of the spaces where the Shakers lived and worked, and participate in hands-on activities.
