About T’ai Chi Ch’uan
T’ai Chi Ch’uan is an ancient form of the pugilistic art often referred to in the West as “shadowboxing.” Originally designed for self defense, it has been refined into a slow, graceful, rhythmic exercise which has the effect of promoting good health in all – young and old, strong and weak. Practicing T’ai Chi Ch’uan rests and refreshes the mind at the same time that it exercises and conditions the body. Based on sound principles of good health, it is meant to be a lifelong exercise for everyone.
