Membership Levels

Individual  |  $50
Core Membership benefits plus:

•   Free Admission for one (1) adult. 

Individuals with an interest in the history of New England or with any creative, historical, spiritual, or research interests will be especially benefit from this basic Membership; and it makes a great gift! Visit throughout the season free of charge to enjoy all we have to offer.


Family  |  $75
Core Membership benefits plus:

•   Free Admission for two (2) adults

Families in the region will find many occasions to visit Canterbury Shaker Village throughout our season; taking in the beautiful landscapes, gardens, and trails, all while enjoying the historical narrative presented in engaging tours, events, and workshops. With so much to see and do, families may visit as often as they’d like with this membership.


Friend  |  $125
Core Membership benefits plus:

•   Free admission for four (4) adults. 

•   Complimentary North American Reciprocal Museum Association (NARM) Membership 

Friend Membership helps us continue some of the most exciting aspects of maintaining the Village; presenting historical workshops, supporting our gardens and landscape preservation, protecting our collections, and much more. With tours for four (4), Friend level members can bring family and friends to share in the exquisite peace the Village brings to its visitors.

 

Library  |  $200
Core Membership benefits plus:

• Free admission for two adults and two children. 

• 10% off in our Museum Store for your patrons

Supporter  |  $250

•   Free admission to Canterbury Shaker Village for four (4) adults.

Supporters enjoy all the benefits of membership while knowing their gift helps to preserve our National Historic Landmark. Sustaining our ability to bring new programming each year, members at this level encourage development of our non-profit.

 

Steward  |  $500
Core Membership benefits plus:

• Free admission for four (4) adults 

• Complimentary North American Reciprocal Museum Association (NARM) Membership

• Private tour for up to four (4) adults available once annually by appointment. 

At the Steward level, you help support our most crucial ongoing projects, allowing us to maintain our buildings for future generations. Steward members also receive a private tour for four (4), to gain more insight to the rich history Canterbury Shaker Village.


Village Visionary |  $1,000
Core Membership benefits plus:

•    Free admission for six (6) adults

•  Complimentary North American Reciprocal Museum Association (NARM) Membership

•    Private tour for up to six (6) adults available once annually by appointment. 

•    Recognition by name in end of year reports. 

Join us at the Village Visionary level, assuring that your support will honor Shaker history- allowing you to become an active part of that history through membership. Village Visionaries receive all the privileges membership has to offer, and an additional private tour to ensure you can share the beauty and importance of Canterbury Shaker Village with others.
