Photography Policy
Daily Visitors:
Personal photography without flash is allowed throughout the Village. The use of tripods and “selfie sticks” is prohibited inside buildings. Drones are not allowed on the Village grounds without prior written approval from management.
Professional Photographers:
We welcome photographers interested in using the Village as a setting for professional yearbook, graduation, engagement, or family photos, when the photography is for personal/client use only.
Photography must be family-friendly and appropriate for a public museum. Photo shoots must not disrupt other visitors’ experience. No climbing on rock walls or foundations.
A photography day pass ($50) can be obtained through our website and at the Museum Store in the Carriage House during the Village’s open hours. Photo shoots must be scheduled at least three days in advance. A photography day pass includes the photographer and up to six subjects. If additional people will participate in the photo shoot, special accommodations must be made with the Village staff in advance, and an additional fee may be charged.
