On Sunday, July 16 at 4:00 p.m., Canterbury Shaker Village will welcome Liz & Dan Faiella to Music on the Green. Known for crisp vocals, fingerstyle guitar, and lyrical fiddling, Liz & Dan Faiella have taken the mainstage at premier folk venues throughout New England, including Club Passim, Acadia Trad Festival, and others.

A Concord-based band that performs bluegrass, old time, string band, and gospel music, The Wholly Rollers returns to Canterbury Shaker Village’s Music on the Green on Sunday, July 9 at 4:00 p.m.

On Sunday, July 2 at 4:00 p.m., Jordan Tirrell-Wysocki Trio will kick off Music on the Green, an annual concert music series hosted and presented by Canterbury Shaker Village.

Tuesday, June 6 marks the start of NH Gives, a 24-hour online giving challenge that leadership at Canterbury Shaker Village hopes will inject much-needed financial support into ongoing restoration efforts of key historic structures.

Saturday, May 13 marks Opening Day at Canterbury Shaker Village with several special events scheduled to take place in addition to indoor guided tours.

At 10:00 a.m., Opening Day at the Village begins with Canterbury Shaker Village XC 5K, the third race in the Capital Area Race Series (CARS), sponsored by Northeast Delta Dental. Featuring miles of groomed trails on nearly 700 acres, the Village hosts cross-country races throughout the year.

Recently, Canterbury Shaker Village launched The Blinn Report, an online blog that highlights objects from its vast and varied collections as well as the many stories they reveal about this long-lived utopian community.
