Canterbury Shaker Village To Host Music on the Green
On Sunday, June 26 at 4:00 p.m., Canterbury Shaker Village will launch Music on the Garden Barn Green, their annual summer concert series. Entering its third season, the series offers a diverse mix of bands from both New Hampshire and New England from June 26 – September 11.
“He came back in a 1977 Pontiac Bonneville, the last car owned by the Canterbury Shakers,” explained Executive Director Leslie Nolan.
Canterbury Shaker Village to Host Simply Shaker: Village Gathering
On Thursday, June 23, Canterbury Shaker Village will host Simply Shaker: Village Gathering, which will feature an open house, cocktails and appetizers, Shaker-inspired buffet dinner, live music, and more.
Established in 1792, Canterbury Shaker Village represents one of the oldest, most typical, and most completely preserved of the Shaker Villages.

On Friday, June 10 at 5:30 p.m., Canterbury Shaker Village will host artist Lesley Dill, whose exhibit, Wilderness: Light Sizzles Around Me, recently opened at the museum’s Hubbard Gallery.

Saturday, May 14 marks Opening Day for Canterbury Shaker Village, which features 25 original and 4 reconstructed Shaker buildings set on nearly 700 acres of forests, open fields, and well-tended gardens.
